What is the structural performance of spiral plate heat exchanger?

What is the structural performance of spiral plate heat exchanger?


1. The equipment consists of two rollers, forming two uniform spiral channels. The two heat transfer media can flow in full countercurrent, which greatly enhances the heat exchange effect. Even two media with small temperature difference can achieve ideal heat exchange effect.


2. The connecting pipe on the shell adopts tangential structure, and the local resistance is small. Because of the uniform curvature of the spiral channel, the liquid flowing in the equipment has no big turning point, and the total resistance is small, so the design flow rate can be increased and the heat transfer capacity can be increased.


3. The end face of spiral channel of I-type non-detachable spiral plate heat exchanger is sealed by welding, with good tightness.


How to clean the spiral heat exchanger?


1. Mechanical cleaning methods Mechanical cleaning methods rely on fluid flow or mechanical action to provide a force greater than the adhesion of dirt to make it fall off the heat exchange surface. There are two types of mechanical cleaning methods: one is strong cleaning methods, such as water jet cleaning, steam jet cleaning, sand blasting cleaning, scraper or drill descaling, and the other is soft mechanical cleaning, such as wire brush cleaning and rubber ball cleaning.


2. The descaling method of high-pressure water jet or mechanical impact for water jet cleaning. When this method is adopted, the water pressure is generally 20~50 MPa. Now there are 50~70 mpa with higher pressure.


3. Sand blasting cleaning. The screened quartz sand (generally 3~5mm in particle size) will use compressed air (300~350 kPa) to generate a strong linear velocity through the spray gun, which will wash the inner wall of the heat exchanger tube, remove dirt and restore the original heat exchange characteristics of the tube.


4. Rubber ball cleaning: it is cleaned with a shot blasting cleaner. Shot blasting cleaner is composed of a fluid spray gun that pushes sponge balls into the pipe to be cleaned. It is made of semi-hard foam polyurethane sponge, which is elastic.


5. Chemical cleaning method: Chemical cleaning method is to add detergent, acid, enzyme, etc. to the fluid to reduce the binding force between dirt and the heat exchange surface, so that it can be removed from the heat exchange surface.


6. At present, the chemical cleaning methods used include circulation method, which uses a pump to force the cleaning solution to circulate for cleaning. Immersion method fills the equipment with cleaning solution and lets it stand for a certain period of time. Compared with mechanical cleaning, chemical cleaning can remove stains in tiny gaps and clean the metal surface without forming deposited particles.


Spiral plate heat exchanger is a kind of energy-saving equipment that can transfer heat between two or more fluids with different temperatures. It is one of the main equipment to improve the energy utilization rate by transferring heat from the fluid with higher temperature to the fluid with lower temperature, so that the fluid temperature can reach the index specified by the process.
